Mrs. Martin's Third Grade Welcome to third grade at St. Stephen's Episcopal School. I am so glad to have you in my class. This year we will be creating books, learning how to write in cursive, memorizing multiplication and division facts, starting book clubs, running a class store, and much more! Feel free to look around and explore this site. You will find lots of helpful information. You will need to bring in $2 for knitting needles. You may bring in any color yarn to use during knitting. It would be helpful to have a second set of knitting needles (US 8) and yarn at home. On Monday mornings, Ms. Rozman will be teaching us how to knit. We will practice from September through December. By January, you will be expected to start knitting squares for our auction project. (start with 25 stitches, bind off when your square is 5 inches in length) You should be working on one square at school and one at home.
